About these units
An angle measures rotation between two lines. The SI unit is the radian: the angle at which the arc equals the radius. A full turn is 2π radians, or 360 degrees.
Degrees are divided into 60 arcminutes and each arcminute into 60 arcseconds, used in navigation and astronomy. Surveyors in some countries use gradians (gon), 400 to a full turn. Because π is irrational, conversions involving radians are always rounded.

Questions people ask
How many degrees is one radian?
180/π, about 57.29578 degrees.
How do I convert degrees to radians?
Multiply by π and divide by 180. For example, 90° = π/2 ≈ 1.5708 rad.
What is a gradian?
One 400th of a full turn, so a right angle is exactly 100 gradians (gon); one gradian is 0.9°.
